The 34th Communications Regiment

The 34th Communications Regiment is an Army Reserve unit located in Westmount, Quebec near downtown Montreal. Our mission is to provide rapid and secure voice and data communications services to other army elements, meaning we get to work alongside other army trades. To accomplish this, we use a variety of modern communications equipment including digital and encrypted VHF and HF radios, satellite phones, computers, fiber optic cable and telephone landlines. Our soldiers work hard to gain technical skills while experiencing the adventure, outdoor living, discipline and physical training of being a soldier.
